Description
As in subject, the finch_only variant is missing a 'depends_lib-delete port:gtk2', as finch does not need gtk2.

It appears that there are dependencies that themselves depend on gtk2 and provide features orthogonal to whether there's a GUI. So this ticket as written is invalid. There may be a case to be made for adding variants to specifically disable the features provided by e.g. gconf.
