Description
Hi,
Mimms 3.2.1 reports an error which prevents it from running :
Connecting ...libmms error:/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/libmimms/core.py:245: DeprecationWarning: BaseException.message has been deprecated as of Python 2.6 print >> sys.stderr, "libmms error:", e.message libmms connection error
I tried to re-install it
sudo port upgrade --force mimms
but that did not solved the problem.
Environment: OS.X 10.5.8 XCode 3.1.4 MacPort 1.9.1

Summary: | mimms @3.2.1_1 - "BaseException.message deprecated as of Python 2.6" → mimms @3.2.1_1 - "libmms connection error" |
---|
The deprecation warning is harmless. The message "libmms connection error" makes it pretty clear that there was some kind of error when trying to establish the connection. There's no reason this must be a bug (though certainly the message could be more specific.)

There is a mistake of mine. MacPorts version 1.9.2 is running on my system, not 1.9.1.
