Summary: | php5-gdchart will not install. → php5-gdchart will not install when gd2 is not installed |
Interesting. I see the same problem if the gd2 port is not installed. But it installs fine if gd2 is installed. (So that's your workaround: install gd2 first.)
php5-gdchart is not supposed to require the external gd2 port, according to its documentation; it should be using a bundled copy of gd2. It's not clear to me whether it's talking about a copy of gd2 that's bundled with php5-gdchart, or the copy that I know is bundled with php5 (but to which I'm unclear how php5-gdchart would have access).
