python26: IDLE doesn't launch

Description

On Mac OSX 10.6.5 Python26's IDLE bounces a couple of times and then disappears.

And in the Console (in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder) you should see an error message. In my case, I see: 

2010-11-20 20:57:03	[0x0-0x5c05c0].org.python.IDLE[82655]	** IDLE can't import Tkinter.  Your Python may not be configured for Tk. **

Resolution: → duplicate
Status: new → closed

Because +no_tkinter is currently a default variant. To be resolved via #26387.
