gtk2-extra fails to install

When I try to install gtk2-extra (sudo port install gtk2-extra) I get the followin: 

--->  Computing dependencies for gtk2-extra
--->  Fetching gtk2-extra
--->  Verifying checksum(s) for gtk2-extra
--->  Extracting gtk2-extra
--->  Configuring gtk2-extra
--->  Building gtk2-extra
Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see log for details)
Log for gtk2-extra is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_x11_gtk2-extra/main.log
