$ sudo port install poll-emulator ---> Verifying checksum(s) for poll-emulator Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for poll-emulator-1.4.tar.gz *** The non-matching file appears to be HTML. I did check http://trac.macports.org/wiki/MisbehavingServers
I use Google's DNS' 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and they have never failed me before, usually better than local ISP.
PS tried to install in order to later install perl module IO::Epoll from cpan
My system iMac OSX 10.6.5, MacPorts base version 1.9.2 installed, Intel Core 2 duo
Did port selfupdate before attempting install - MacPorts was already at 1,9,2
Let me know if you need more info

As per the FAQ, you need to indicate which mirror your file was downloaded from. What does the HTML file actually say?

I just wanted to let you guys know there was a problem with this port. I have downloaded and compiled it manually, if you can't/won't reproduce the issue, than you can close this.
I didn't know where to get the said HTML file, and when someone says 'AS PER the FAQ...'
instead of
'This is a generic error concerning "X" issues, could you please provide us with the HTML file "Y" to help us pinpoint the faulty server? It should be located at "Z" further information is available in the FAQ '
it pisses me off.
Without X-Y-Z info, I would still be at a lost within your said FAQ.
