Hello,
after sudo port install jigdo all necessary dependenies are installed without error up to following error (log):

Homepage http://atterer.org/jigdo/ did not work also, it must be http://atterer.org/sites/atterer/files/2009-08/jigdo/. Testing a modified Portfile reports again a checksum error. The extraction after manual download of http://atterer.org/sites/atterer/files/2009-08/jigdo/jigdo-0.7.3.tar.bz2 fails. The file seems to be corrupted.

Sorry... Fixed this in r75031.
Testing a modified Portfile reports again a checksum error. The extraction after manual download of http://atterer.org/sites/atterer/files/2009-08/jigdo/jigdo-0.7.3.tar.bz2 fails. The file seems to be corrupted.
You need to "sudo port clean --all jigdo" to clear out the bad distfile before trying again.

Did you read the MisbehavingServers page, referred to in your error message above? Did you check the HTML file that was downloaded to see what it says?
