Hello,
please could the maintainer bump the version available via macports from 1.5.3 to the latest 1.5.4.2, containing a couple of bugfixes and new features, see the changelog.

Closing since #27969 has been opened with the update. In future you shouldn't open a new ticket when someone has already opened one requesting an update, just attach the diff to the existing ticket.
