I attached a patch to do this, but in fact, this causes the library version to increase, so everything using libev needs a revbump. Plus, the only thing I'm using that uses libev -- lighttpd -- doesn't build with 4.04, so this may need further thought.

This was reported and ​fixed in lighttpd in March 2011 but there hasn't been a release of lighttpd since August 2010.

This was reported and ​fixed in lighttpd in March 2011 but there hasn't been a release of lighttpd since August 2010.

lighttpd 1.4.29 was released a month ago (July 3rd, 2011):

Lighttpd 1.4.29 does not build on Mac OS X when SSL support is enabled. This will be fixed in 1.4.30 and I will update the port to that version when it is available.

mww updated libev to 4.04 in r84238 thus breaking lighttpd; see #31359. mww rev-bumped the remaining affected ports in r84241 (caml-lwt), r84244 (awesome) and r84245 (simplevoc-open).
