Description
Using Mercurial 1.8.1 I’m getting the following error message with using „hg in“:
Abort: Error: _ssl.c:490: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed.
I’m running MacPorts 1.9.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.6.

Did anyone come up with a solution. I have mercurial 1.8.3 and still experience the same problem. I tried configuring certificates as described in http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/CACertificates but it did not work either.

Last working Mercurial Version is 1.7.2. 1.7.3 already was broken.
