I'd prefer to remove 'gmail.com:' in case spam crawlers get cleverer. My email address is available to logged-in MacPorts users.

Sorry, didn't see that. So without 'gmail.com:' it looks like I have an @macports.org address.
However, the problem with "conventions" is that it makes it easy for spam crawlers to find them.
Portfile.3 has that one change so commit Portfile.2 please.

Note that there isn't a top-level category "gtk".
There's a gtk category that isn't top-level but it would be worth making it top-level because there are so many ports that should have it as their primary category including gtk1, gtk2 and gtk3. Why is gnome top-level if gtk isn't??

Fixed and committed in r90568.
