Description
I recently (finally) upgraded my 2007 Macbook Pro to Snow Leopard, and did a from-scratch installation of macports + all ports of interest to me.
But XMGrace (the grace port) now gives a "segmentation fault" error on launch. No interesting message or anything.
Thinking it might be some 32-bit/64-bit confusion, I tried "port uninstall xmgrace" followed by "port install xmgrace +universal". Again, installation succeeded, but I get a segmentation fault at launch.

Hi. I've just located and uploaded the most recent crash log from my machine. You'll note that my ports install location is non-standard: /Volumes/Apps_and_Docs/optMACPORTS.
Thanks, Bernard

Hi again.
I just did This seems to have resolved itself with a "port upgrade outdated" yesterday (7 April 2011). I don't know which dependency/ies fixed it, but the list of upgraded ports is reproduced below.
Anyway, this ticket can be closed; thanks.

Most likely the same as #28900.
Could you attach the crash log? It should be in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports.
