Hi Martin,
I've attached my Portfile for py27- that pulls from John Lee's github project. As mentioned in the attachment, v0.2.5 includes the functionality of clientform, so no extra deps.
I was having trouble fetching from sf.net, and it seemed better to go direct to github, rather than move to PyPI. John mentions his trouble w/ SF, and made some changes to move ti PyPI: https://github.com/jjlee/mechanize/commit/062557503478c35c58f79fa0cf1462f92ff71c75

- Macports v2.0.3 addresses git fetch checksum issue seen in v2.0.2
- works in v2.0.3
- bump, bump... ;)
