db46: error: expected ')' before '*' token

I was installing Wine with git via macports (via this command $ port install git-core wine-devel) when towards the end i received an error trying to install db46. it all started with this error (via the log) :info:build ../dist/../libdb_java/db_java_wrap.c:196: error: expected ')' before '*' token

I think this is the same thing as #26939 and the check there got somehow broken by the last update to the db46 package? The resolution would be to put the check back in (svn revision r72900 ) to notify the user

The check added in r72900 has never been removed.

I never got a warning from macports. I suspect this is because (confirmed on a fresh installation of OS X 10.6, including XCode and all downloads as offered by Software Update) the jni.h file is an empty directory without the installation of the java sdk update thing (which doesn't get offered via software update)

The problem was alleviated by downloading an update to Java [via ​https://connect.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MemberSite.woa/wa/getSoftware?bundleID=20719 from ticket #26939].
