a couple comments -
since the contents list is so short, you can include it directly in the Portfile. additionally you don't want to register info/dir since other ports can modify/use this file in which case it can fail during uninstall...
ideally the info file would also be renamed hfstar.info but that isn't a big deal (famous last words right?)

To add to jpm's comments - all the 'tar' named files that are installed will need to be prefixed with 'hfs' (hfstar), as to not conflict with standard tar.
