xulrunner-devel looks for gtk2+x11 :

Try Error: rebuilding the port that should have provided that file by running Error: Error: sudo port -n upgrade --force <portname> Error: Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: missing required file Error: Failed to install xulrunner-devel Log for xulrunner-devel is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_xulrunner-devel/main.log Error: The following dependencies were not installed: xulrunner-devel Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
Would it be possible to provide a +quartz+no_x11 variant ?

I have removed the portgroup and now I am getting this error :
:info:configure configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.

OK, XULrunner 2 refuses to build on Tiger :
Core Text is required (available on Mac OS X 10.5 or later)
So, the gcc-4.2 issue is probably a wontfix.

What if you just remove the archcheck portgroup stuff? It shouldn't really be needed anymore anyway.
