Description
The port tortoisehg should be compatible with various python versions. There is the convention for python packages (py26-xxx, py27-xxx), why is this not in use here?

Since TortoiseHg must use the same Python version as Mercurial, the explicit dependency on python26 is inherited from the mercurial port.
#27757 is a request to use python27 for mercurial, but it seems to be blocked by #27916. As soon as the mercural port changes to another Python version or pyXX-mercurial ports become available, the tortoisehg port will be changed accordingly. For now I think there is nothing to be done here, this ticket can be closed and may be reopened later when necessary.

Since you do plan to change this later, I'd just leave the ticket open until then.

mercurial's python was changed to 2.7, so now tortoisehg's python needs to change to 2.7 also.
