Note that the current XBMC portfile doesn't compile (for me on Snow Leopard). Have you previously looked into this upgrade and found it difficult, or not yet?

I haven't looked into it yet.

Hopefully they fixed a bunch of the issues that I reported, so we don't need to jump through so many hoops this time around...

It looks like their QA hasn't gotten much better in the past couple years. Makefile.include is missing in the 12.2 tarball. I'm not going to bother any further, but I suggest anyone interested use git rather than the tarball.

The last XBMC release is 13.2. Starting at version 14.0, it will be called kodi.

Port removed in [0adc171ae1326fc18ea25999196734a6a1eebe4c/macports-ports] because it is 8 years old, doesn't compile and nobody proposed a patch here. Please open another ticket if you created a Portfile for Kodi.
