p5-devel-ppport @3.19 build problem

Could not build p5-devel-ppport, which is required by p5-module-install.

Couldn't find any existing relevant tickets (save for perhaps 24025).

OS is 10.6.7. Xcode is 4.0.0.

Context:

I have been trying to upgrade to Perl 5.14 (cleanly - removing all MacPorts Perls, Perl modules and dependencies and re-installing them).

All went well, but then I came across the problem below, which I've since reproduced with MacPorts' Perls 5.14 and 5.12, and the system's 5.10.

Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding anything, or if more information would be helpful...
