Description
nginx in the trunk is two months and several versions behind the latest release.
Side note - Looks like PHP 5.3.7 will be out soon. There is a RC on php.net. So, since nginx hasn't been updated for a couple months, waiting a couple more weeks for PHP to come out and then doing a whole bunch of updates at once for MacPorts might be a pretty good strategy.

PHP 5.3.7 was just released this morning. Time to update PHP and nginx in the trunk.

I now see PHP 5.3.8 in the trunk. Any chance of getting nginx updated to the latest release?

Patch attached. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to commit this. Does openmaintainer include updating?

Yes, openmaintainer means you can commit without waiting for approval from the maintainer.
