Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
When doing a 'port upgrade outdated', after successfully completing the 'm4' and 'autoconf' upgrades, when staging 'libtool' into 'destroot', I got the error message:
Error: /opt/local/lib/libltdl.dylib is not in the destroot. Please clean libtool and try again.
After cleaning libtool, I still get the same error message.

The only reference you provided here as to the issue that you feel this issue duplicates is issue #30018, which I reviewed before submitting this ticket. My issue cannot be a duplicate of #30018, as /usr/bin/gfortran does not exist on my system. As such I cannot delete it to resolve this issue as you suggested in #30018. Do you need more information?

I just noticed the following error in the attached log file:
:info:configure libtool.m4: error: problem compiling FC test program
Could this has something to do with the issue?

Same problem as reported here. I do not have /usr/bin/gfortran either. I am attaching the main.log file.

I am not sure what you are saying. Do you have a resolution to this problem that you can share with me?

Replying to michael.secules@…:

Sorry for not being clear, I am encountering the same problem and I do not have a resolution either.

michael.secules, please do not enclose everything you write in {{{ }}}; only use {{{ }}} to enclose things like literal terminal output or commands you type.
Ok, you don't have gfortran. Do you have f77, in /bin, /usr/bin, or /opt/local/bin? Based on the logs, it looks like that's the problem for amruta.ahuja, but not for michael.secules.

No, f77 is not in /bin nor /usr/bin, nor /opt/local/bin.
