Description
The XviD port currently in the repository is stuck at version 1.2.2, which is very old at this point and has assembly disabled in its build options which makes it extremely slow as well. The latest version of XviD is 1.3.2 and compiles properly with assembly without modification on Snow Leopard.

diff attached to update the xvid port to 1.3.2. No patchfiles needed anymore and compilation with assembly works.

Summary: | Upgrade to xvid 1.3.2 → XviD: update to 1.3.2 |
Note that the livecheck (freshmeat) still shows 1.2.2 as the latest version, which is probably why nobody noticed this before. We'll fix the livecheck as well.

Thanks for the patch. In r80202 I updated the port to 1.3.2, fixed the livecheck, indicated the license, and changed to using an unversioned docdir.
Note: I was tempted to also remove "use_parallel_build no
" from the portfile as I was sure upstream would have resolved any parallel build issues by now, but it appears they have not. On my dual-core machine with 2 parallel build jobs, I was able to build the port (universal) 6 times consecutively, then it failed on the 7th try.
