Description
I'm trying to do a port install of gimp2-devel on a Mac OS X (10.6.6). I have Xcode 3.2.2 I have been stuck on the following line for about 4 hours.
---> Attempting to fetch Getopt-Long-2.38.tar.gz from http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/CPAN/modules/by-module/Getopt
Can I just do a control-z and force quit the tclsh8.5 process in Activity Monitor and start the port install all over again?
When it searches for dependencies, will the ones that successfully installed before it got stuck on p5-getopt-long no longer need to be installed again?
Is there something I need to do before starting the port install a second time to ensure that I don't get a checksum error for p5-getopt-long?
Sorry to be such a noob. I tried to read your problem hotlist, but either I don't understand what I'm reading or it doesn't answer these specific questions.
Thanks,
Aaron
