On a 2x2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon MacPro, running Lion (OS X 10.7) 

--->  Computing dependencies for ghc
--->  Applying patches to ghc
Error: Target org.macports.patch returned: shell command failed (see log for details)
Log for ghc is at: 
/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_ghc/ghc/main.log

Summary: "shell command failed" during ghc upgrade via "port install outdated" → ghc patch failure

Please generate a complete log; this one starts with the build process already partly completed. 

sudo port clean ghc
sudo port upgrade ghc
