hi,
- qemu 0.15.0 is out
- a patch which fixes the tap-interface creation (you'll need tuntaposx)
i've already sent a patch to the qemu-net-maintainer

Yes, still needed … there were no changes in tap-bsd.c on that issue

qemu is obviously now at version 1.0.1. Is the tap patch still needed?
