shared-mime-info fails in post-activate while updating MIME database

Description

I'm trying to install gtk2 with the no_x11 and quartz variants. During the installation, installation of shared-mime-info fails. I'm attaching the shared-mime-info log.

shared-mime-info should have been activated, even though the post-activate script failed. What happens if you manually run: 

sudo /opt/local/bin/update-mime-database -V /opt/local/share/mime
