Description

YARA is a tool aimed at helping malware researchers to identify and classify malware samples. Attached is a Portfile for YARA version 1.6.

This is my first Portfile submission. I appreciate any comments. Thank you!

Thanks for the submission and for listing yourself as maintainer! Committed in r90353 with a couple changes:

  • added a patch to fix building with clang (it uses C99 inline behavior instead of GNU89)
  • the distfiles, distname, extract.suffix, and test.run lines are redundant since those values are the defaults
  • added a license tag
  • switched checksum types to sha256/rmd160, which is what we're preferring now
