Are we saying that gcc 4.6.2 does not build universal but 4.6.1 did? If not, then the summary of this ticket doesn't make sense.

4.6.1 built as universal on my machine.

so if it builds, what exactly is the problem?
On my machine, 4.6.1 builds as universal, but 4.6.2 does not.
