Description
Ruby 1.9.3 p0 is now available with a license change and compiler guidance for Lion.
From the NEWS file:
== Changes since the 1.9.2 release === License * Ruby's License is changed from a dual license with GPLv2 to a dual license with 2-clause BSDL. === Known platform dependent issues ==== OS X Lion * You have to configure ruby with '--with-gcc=gcc-4.2' if you're using Xcode 4.1, or, if you're using Xcode 4.2, you have to configure ruby with '--with-gcc=clang'.
I also note that the developers are recommending that all users transition from the 1.8 series to 1.9.3 as soon as possible. Bug fix support for 1.8 to end 6/2012, EOL 6/2013.
