I got the same problem as in ticked #26827 which is marked as closed( !?!).

It's not exactly the same. In #26827, the check for breqn doesn't find breqn. In your case, the check for breqn crashes.

Can you attach the config.log and the crash log?

I suspect this is no longer a problem since the update to 1.33 in r108122, but can't check because modglue now fails to build.
