Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
Morning all. I was trying to install arb through macports and I keep running into this error:
sudo port install arb ---> Configuring makedepend Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command failed (see log for details) Error: Failed to install makedepend
I went through the process of trying to install makedepend separately using the instructions on the MacPorts Guide, A port fails to build when using Xcode 4
When I try with this with llvm-gcc-4.2 I end up with the error:
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command failed (see log for details)
When I try with apple-gcc-4.2 I end up with this:
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command failed (see log for details)
I was wondering what my next steps for trouble shooting should be.
Thanks for any help or suggestions!
Regards,
Ara

A log from what appears to be the same bug. Clean Lion install, clean MacPorts install.
