Description

The firefox-x11 portfile contains this block: 

# XCode 3.1's gcc-4.0 and gcc-4.2 have issues
# llvm-gcc-4.2 has trouble with some of the mmx asm
if {${configure.compiler} == "gcc-4.0"} {
    depends_build-append path:bin/clang:clang
    configure.compiler macports-clang
} elseif {${configure.compiler} == "llvm-gcc-4.2"} {
    configure.compiler clang
}

It says gcc-4.2 has issues... but then doesn't do anything to prevent the use of gcc-4.2.

Based on that comment, I think it's just XCode 3.1's gcc-4.2 that has a problem. I can't remember though...

Oh. So the problem would only be with gcc-4.2 on Leopard, where gcc-4.0 is the default anyway. Got it.
