Description
Just wondering if "contacts" will have some kind of utf8 support. For now it seems it doesn't. For example with "contacts Peter" I get the name "Peter M?ller" instead of "Peter Müller".
If I do a "select"-query in the sqlite file of the AddressBook, everything works find (see for instance http://krypted.com/mac-os-x/querying-address-bookapp-from-the-command-line/).
Thx for any suggestions, Michele

As reporter, you do not need to Cc yourself. There's no need to repeat the port name in the Keywords field.
I can confirm the problem, but you should probably direct your concerns to the developer of contacts; it doesn't sound like a MacPorts-specific problem.

Ok. Thx. I just contacted the developer about this problem. I'll let you know.
And sorry for the "bad submitted ticket report" ;-)

This would not be something we could add in the port.
