Description
Ghostscript installation fails: it tries to fetch ghostscript-9.04_1.darwin_11.x86_64.tbz2 from http://packages.macports.org/ghostscript unsuccessfully (the file does not exists) and it does not go on in fetching the sources.

Ok, it was my fault (the incorrect downloaded file was still there also after a port clean, that prevented a fresh download).

The error log says:
Did you read the MisbehavingServers servers page?
What is in the HTML files that got downloaded? They are in the directory /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ghostscript.
