Description
I'm running Macports 2.0.3 using Xcodes 4.2.1 on Lion OS X 10.7.2 on a MBP 13" 5,5 (Late 2009 model). I tried to update kdenlive and all of it's dependencies and virtuoso fails to upgrade. The log file is attached.

If you try building virtuoso again, is there anything in your system/console logs when it fails to start?

Replying to snc@…:

Before I try again do I need to run port clean (I imagine that wouldn't work because of any dependency that is based on virtuoso would stop that from executing) or some other command? I'm used to just cleaning a port when the port is building for the first time but not updating them.

Cleaning likely won't help here: you'll just rebuild and hit the same issue. Just try updating it again and watch the logs, as the process that's crashing isn't logging why it's crashing to MacPorts.
If that doesn't show anything, then I'd recommend deactivating/force uninstalling the current virtuoso prior to updating in case the wrong one is being run.
