Description
i'd like to install ktorrent4 with port. but i get an error of gdk-pixbuf2.

You don't happen to have anything in /usr/local do you?

hi, if you mean some config.log, I don't have any in /usr/local, but if you mean other things, yes, i actually have something, I have bin, include, man, lib and Qt4.7. have these directories something to do with the installation error?

If you have software, for example an old version of libtiff, in /usr/local (for example in /usr/local/lib/libtiff.dylib or libtiff.a) then that could easily account for the problem. We do not support using MacPorts while software is installed in /usr/local because of the likelihood of these kinds of problems. So you should either install software in /usr/local (and not use MacPorts), or use MacPorts (and remove /usr/local).

ok, i didn't know that, good to know now, I'm going to remove these /usr/local and give a try, thx
