The summary of this ticket makes it sound like a bug report. But you're submitting a new port, yes?
You've listed pixilla as the maintainer. Has he agreed to that?
There should be more than one checksum listed.

There is an existing ace 6.0.8 port (recently renamed from libACE). There is also a tao (ace+tao) port on the way.
$ sudo port sync $ sudo port install ace
If the ace port fails to build please open a new ticket with a type "defect" and cc the ace ports new maintainer.
