Description
gmic 1.5.0.9 is available; this patch updates the port. May I commit it?

The sourceforge site says the new site is gmic.eu but that doesn't work for me
We could also use https://github.com/dtschump/gmic-minimal
latest version appears to be 1.6.5.0

Yes, I think the github repo is the way to go, using gmic.eu as the homepage. Current release version is 1.6.7.
Since there has been no response from the maintainer, the port is now nomaintainer per #50630. Please feel free to go ahead and update the port. And if there's any way to make it build with +quartz as well as the current X11 (not sure this is the case), that would be a big plus for the gimp plugin. See #50680.

done r147739 - from my testing it appears to work as previous versions. Disabled building new GUI zart to prevent pulling in Qt.
