Description
Included is a patch which adds a variant that builds the daemon bits and installs them.
I'm not sure if this should be broken out into a separate port, but I think it'll be easier to maintain updates to the port like this

I will look into subporting and creating startup items tonight.

I'm not really sure how to go about splitting it into a subport, I've been looking at some sample Portfiles, but it is not entirely obvious.
I'll attach what I've currently got.

I wonder if it would be possible to add an qt variant as well. ATM the GUI version of transmission can't be build on PPC/Leopard. The X11 port is outdated (v. 1.73). The daemon and the cli client can be build on PPC/Leopard. A qt version would give users on said legacy systems a GUI, without the need to run a X11 server.

File a separate ticket for this request, please.

I'd second the request for a daemon variant/subport.

Thanks for the patch - r121119
Ideally, it would be implemented as a subport (not a separate port, not a variant).
Should there be a startupitem to start the daemon? Should it be called "server" instead of "daemon", to match the naming of other ports?
