Have followed the advice pages on this issue, including switching to google dns, but no solution available. I suspect that the file has not been uploaded correctly or - indeed - at all. Log follows.

Summary: libgsf uploaded to servers incorrectly?libgsf: checksum mismatch because HTML file

You'll have to tell us what server you got this file from. If you don't remember, "sudo port clean --all libgsf" and try again and it will print the address it downloads from; if it fails again, let us know so we can investigate that server.

libgsf uses the gnome fetch group; several fetch groups including gnome use a mirror at gtlib.cc.gatech.edu, which appears to have been renamed to gtlib.gatech.edu; I fixed this in r90254.

This server name was also hardcoded into the phonon, automoc, and xjump portfiles; fixed this in r90460.
