Description
Hi,
I've wanted to update git from 1.7.9.2_1 to 1.7.9.4_0, but this update requires the installation of p5.12-term-readkey and the compilation failed with this message (seems to be not compatible with Xcode 4.3.1) :

It's still failing for me after force-upgrading perl.

The "Skipping completed" lines in that log show you did not clean before trying again.
sudo port clean p5.12-term-readkey

Perhaps cleaning perl5.12 before rebuilding perl5.12 was the key. This worked:
~ sudo port selfupdate ~ sudo port clean -f --all perl5.12 ~ sudo port -n upgrade --force perl5.12 # not sure if the re-clean of perl5.12 is necessary, i did it by accident: ~ sudo port clean -f --all perl5.12 ~ sudo port clean -f --all p5.12-term-readkey ~ sudo port install p5.12-term-readkey
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
Rebuild perl5.12.
