Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
I'm trying to build kdegames3, but first I need kdebase3 to build successfully.
I'm running Lion 10.7.3, and I'm using Xcode 4.3.2.
The Terminal outputs thus:
Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see log for details) Error: Failed to install kdebase3 Log for kdebase3 is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_kde_kdebase3/kdebase3/main.log Error: The following dependencies were not installed: kdebase3 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
As best I can tell, the only error in the log is here:
:info:build Warning: the following items did not execute (for kdebase3): org.macports.activate org.macports.build org.macports.destroot org.macports.install :error:build Failed to install kdebase3 :debug:build couldn't open "/System/Library/Frameworks/Tcl.framework/Versions/8.5/Resources/tclIndex": no such file or directory while executing "open [file join $dir tclIndex]"
I'm attaching the entire log anyway in case it has more enlightening information I didn't catch.

Summary: | kdebase3 fails to build due to missing Tcl error?! → kdebase3: error: /opt/local/bin/xmkmf (imake) failed |
The relevant error seems to be:
error: /opt/local/bin/xmkmf (imake) failed
I wonder why xmkmf failed. Is there a config.log you can attach that might contain more details?

Sure, if you can tell me where to look for the logfile, I can hunt it down and attach it, provided, of course, that it exists.

Did the recent changed to xorg-cf-files and imake help with this?

Actually, what I eventually ended up doing was completely deleting MacPorts and starting from scratch. Then it was fine. Go figure.
