here is a unified diff for 2.5.0 that allows to get rid of the patch files
the port also conflicts with gmsh-devel which is a new package tracking gmsh development (svn). I am uploading gmsh-devel as soon as possible

2.6.1 is available; gmsh and/or gmsh-devel should be updated.

This patch is against an older version of the Portfile and is no longer valid anyway.

Please attach a unified diff of the portfile. Why are you using a beta version from svn? If it's to compile with clang, then why is the workaround of using llvm-gcc still being used?
