emacs @23.4_0+dbus+gtk+x11 does not work in Terminal

Description
After a port upgrade outdated, emacs does not accept keystrokes when run in terminal mode (-nw).
Upon killing the emacs process running from another terminal, I see the keystrokes entered in emacs displayed on the command line where emacs was invoked.
Running on Mac OS X 10.7.3

Looks like this is an issue related to glib 2.32 compatibility. Testing a patch...
