Description
I have a 10.7 machine which runs:
sudo port selfupdate sudo port upgrade outdated
every night. However, it looks like it is running into issues upgrading Python 2.7. I tried running:
sudo port clean -f --all python27
then
sudo port upgrade python27
and the staging fails. I have attached the log file.

Duplicate of #32090: don't use py27-xml, it's an obsolete port.

The issue is that inkscape depends on py27-xml - is there a solution apart from just uninstalling inkscape?

Cc'ing maintainer of inkscape for guidance. Dave, should the py27-xml dependency be removed from the inkscape port? Should the py27-xml port be deleted completely?
