evince @2.30.3 configure failure: "PDF support is disabled since poppler-glib library version 0.12.0 or newer not found"

I encountered the following error while installing evince via port. Not sure where the log file is for port. I'm new to macport, but not to linux/unix and can provide more info if directed. Information from attempted installation below.

The config.log might have more useful information. Please also attach the complete main.log, in case there's something else relevant that you didn't spot.
