Description
Tried installing 2.1.0 rc1 package on a brand new MacBook Pro with 10.7.4 update plus Xcode 4.3.2. After installer reported successful, the PATH environment is not prepended with MacPorts paths. Manually adding them then run port command got me this message:
Error: /opt/local/bin/port: Failed to initialize MacPorts, sources_conf must be set in /opt/local/etc/macports/macports.conf or in your /Users/stephenchu/.macports/macports.conf file

And is sources_conf set in your macports.conf? If not, you must be upgrading from a very old version of MacPorts...
