Please use WikiFormatting when writing in Trac.

The error in the log is: 

error: variable length array of non-POD element type 'string'

Sounds like a complaint clang would generate. As a workaround, try using a different compiler.

TeXmacs 1.99.2 builds fine for me with clang on Yosemite. Please try again with that version.
