Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
Hi all,
I'm facing a problem when trying to install mysql5-devel port.
Both mysql5 and mysql5-server are already installed.
Here is the error I get :
Error: Unable to execute port: Can't install mysql5-devel because conflicting ports are installed: mysql5
Thank You for any help...
Christophe.

If you already have mysql5 installed, why do you want to install mysql5-devel?
mysql5 and mysql5-devel conflict. That's the point. Pick which one you want to use.
Ideally, switch to using either the new mysql51 port or the new mysql55 port. The mysql5 and mysql5-devel ports are going away soon. But we haven't yet updated all the ports that depend on them.
