Port: | kerberos5 |
Description
Installing kerberos5 on OS X results in two mutually incompatible kerberos installations. That means /usr/bin/klist uses a different ticket cache than /opt/local/bin/klist. Unfortunately /opt/local/bin/klist appears in $PATH before /usr/bin/klist and OS X' ssh does not use the ticket cache displayed by /opt/local/bin/klist. This breaks the ssh user experience in a very confusing way.
I see no obvious solution to this problem besides documenting it.
